Coda for solo piano

 

 

​Coda was composed in 1991 at the request of Ann Basart, editor of Fallen Leaf Press, who included it in a collection of miniature piano works by contemporary American composers. Only one minute long,  I tried to create a nostalgic piece that feels fully developed, like a satisfying short story.
